"Sitting down with my first acoustic guitar in a quiet room, I realised that mastering the neck required the same discipline as my formal vocal training. After earning my MMus Voice from Guildhall and spending 8 years performing in professional ensembles, I transitioned my pedagogical focus to include guitar skills like barre chords and power chords.
I work with students who want to bridge the gap between simple strumming and complex electric technique, songwriting, or chord transitions. My background in classical music informs how I teach maintenance and tuning, ensuring your instrument is always ready for practice. Since I teach 344 students, I have developed a deep understanding of how to make grade exam prep accessible and rewarding.
