About Yara
Singing requires presence. We start by checking your posture and vocal health. Drawing on my 13 years of experience, I guide you through belting techniques and head voice transitions. We address pitch control and vibrato through a series of intentional exercises.
My lessons reflect the same rigour found in my MMus studies while keeping the atmosphere light. Teens and intermediate learners often appreciate the technical breakdown of genre styling, whether pop or classical. I ensure that your diction and articulation remain clear even as we extend your range.
You can expect a supportive environment where your instrument is treated with the utmost care. We will work together to ensure your technique stays healthy for years to come.

Music is the primary language I speak beyond the academic spheres of my Trinity Laban degree. Vocal health stands as the pillar of my teaching philosophy.
I have taught 330 students ranging from ABRSM grade candidates to professional opera singers. My experience includes refining diction for those singing in French or Spanish. Teens and adults often find my gentle, refined approach helpful for building confidence.
I enjoy building a PERSONALISED SONG LIST built around each student's range. It is truly rewarding to see vocal progress unfold in real time.
