About Dani
I am a professional artist, art educator, and mindful arts facilitator with a strong background in both creative practice and teaching. I hold postgraduate qualifications in Art Therapy and Art in Education (Celso Lisboa), which deeply inform the way I support people through creativity.
I have several years of experience teaching art to both children and adults. I have run an art club for children for over two years, creating a safe and nurturing space for self-expression, confidence-building, and creative exploration. Alongside this, I facilitate mindful art and well-being workshops in festivals, art centers, and community settings.
My work sits at the intersection of creativity, well-being, and education. I am particularly experienced in working with beginners and those who feel unsure or disconnected from their creativity. My approach is gentle, intuitive, and responsive, always tailored to the individual rather than following a rigid structure.
I believe creativity is a natural human capacity and that everyone can benefit from making art. Through my teaching and facilitation, I aim to create supportive spaces where people feel safe to explore, express themselves, and reconnect with their creative well-being.

Each session begins with a simple check-in: how are you feeling today? From there, the art becomes a way to slow down, tune in, and express what is present, without pressure or expectations.
You do not need to be an artist or “good” at art to take part in these sessions. No previous experience is required. The focus is on the process of creating rather than the final result, in a calm and supportive space.
Sessions are fully tailored to the individual, as everyone’s needs and creative path are different. Lessons usually last 50 minutes. For online sessions, students can use whatever materials they have available, such as coloured pencils, markers, paint, clay, or simple drawing tools.
These mindful art sessions are suitable for adults of all levels and can help reduce stress, support relaxation, and nurture creative wellbeing.
