About Carrie
As an elementary and middle school teacher for the last 30 years, my focus has been on English, writing, and grammar skills. Both English only and EL (English Learners) have grown and thrived when shown the rules and patterns of the English language in my classroom. My secondary passion has been Ancient History and the Social Studies curriculum. My students learn difficult concepts and enjoy the content when taught in an understandable way. Finally, my love of technology helped me to flourish in the online setting forced upon education during the pandemic. I enjoy meeting and connecting with students online as much as I do in person.
