About Gabriela
I am an experienced professional solo concert violinist - violist and tutor with 30 years of experience. Performing and giving Masterclasses in Japan, Columbia, Mexico, United Kingdom and Europe, including Czech Republic.
I have launched in March 2020 my new educational project “The Smethcote Summer MasterClass” in Shropshire, England, focusing on sharing my experience with students from all over the world.
In 2019 I started giving Master Classes to students at The RNCM Manchester which were received with great reviews.
In March 2020 I have been giving Masterclasses at The Concord College Shrewsbury and I have returned to The RNCM Manchester to lead the violin workshop again.
In August 2001 I have founded The International Music Festival “Baroque Pearls of Gabriela Demeterova“. It focused on support for young talented musicians, who could take part in Masterclasses led by me and other renowned artists from all over the world during the festival.
In January 2003, I have founded the Gabriela Demeterova Endowment Fund, which became the organiser of my festival. Its main goal is still the support of young musicians and reconstruction of historic monuments.
