About Hala

Several aspects of the statement resonated with me as an educator who seeks to improve the quality of learning. We can even break it to smaller parts.
Having a mission as a tutoring institution indicates a sense of purpose beyond just providing tutoring services. It shows the big picture of making a positive impact on educational equity.
Acceleration of Educational Equity: The emphasis on accelerating educational equity signals a sense of urgency and determination to bring about positive change in the education system, which is needed.
Also, The use of the term "proven power" implies a results-oriented approach and research based. It suggests that the organization is not just providing tutoring but is committed to delivering effective and impactful educational support that can be backed up with data.
Focus on Equity: The mention of "educational equity" highlights a commitment to fairness and ensuring that all students, regardless of background or circumstances, have equal access to educational opportunities.
A tutoring institution is sensitives to culture, you can never achieve culture competency, you can only have culture humility. Culture and competency can never be achieved and having a slip sometimes is normal but we need to be mindful of it and we need to understand it more. With that being said, my postilion and my background with diverse also me coming from different county give me a unique perspective that help me a lot to understand the challenge to be different. So, I approach any culture differences with more sensitivity. I am trying to move myself from being the teacher too.
