About Elric

I am an experienced Guitar tutor with 11 years of teaching practice, guiding students from school, college, and professional backgrounds. My teaching philosophy combines discipline, consistency, and creativity. I ensure students develop strong fundamentals by practising chord clarity, finger exercises, rhythm control, scale mastery, and music theory.

I also focus on helping students build stage presence and performance confidence for live shows and competitions. Over the years, many of my students have performed successfully and gained recognition for their talent.

I maintain a supportive and encouraging learning environment where students feel confident to ask questions and express their creativity. My goal is to help learners develop both technical excellence and a true passion for music.

About the lesson

My teaching methodology for Guitar combines technical training with creative exploration. I maintain open communication so students feel comfortable asking questions and sharing their musical interests. Since every learner has a different pace and strength, I carefully adapt lessons to match their learning style.

Along with Guitar performance skills, I include Music Theory fundamentals, Harmony, Rhythm Studies, Scale Practice, Ear Training, Songwriting basics, and Performance Skills. I believe students should understand how music works rather than just memorise songs.

Therefore, I use practical examples such as analysing well-known songs and discussing live performance techniques to connect theory with real-world application. Students begin by mastering finger coordination, timing accuracy, and chord clarity.

As they progress, they explore advanced techniques including barre chords, fingerstyle playing, improvisation, and lead guitar skills. I provide structured assignments and consistent feedback to ensure long-term development and confidence.
