About Jacopo
I am a certified Medical Doctor with broad knowledge of medicine, a specialization in neurology. I am very experienced in statistics (e.g. using SPSS) and academic writing having published several academic papers.
I can teach students from medicine and related fields, students interested in developing skills with applied statistics in biomedical sciences, and tutor for academic writing.
Over my year in university I have tutored many fellow students for exams and thesis preparation. During my training as a neurologist I have once again trained several fellow students and colleagues always creating great relationship.
I see teaching and learning should as a flow from mentor to student and the relationship between the two is fundamental for learning. This is why I always use a friendly, practical and problem-oriented approach for my teaching and mentoring tasks.
