About Ekta

I offer online tuitions or will be willing to do face-to-face depending on the distance on a weekly basis.

I offer tuitions for GCSE Biology, Chemistry and English Literature and Maths and A Levels in Biology and Chemistry.

I have achieved an A* in all three of my A Levels (Biology, Chemistry and Environmental Science) and will be starting Medicine at St Georges University next year.

Majority of my students have achieved a Grade 7/8 in their GCSEs and some are predicted to obtain those grades.

Hourly rate for Online tuitions:
£25-GCSE
£30 for A Level.

Prices for face-to-face are as follows:

GCSE: £30
A Level: £35

SO i conduct online tuitions weekly sometimes more if my students require it.

I normally use FaceTime but if that is something that isn`t possible, then I can use other methods such as Whatsapp Video. I normally teach along with the specification of the exam board that the student will be doing in school as this provides the accurate information that will be required for the student to know in the exams. I also tend to go through practice questions with the student, getting them to answer the question and if they are unsure then I am there to help. I try to make my lessons very interactive, trying less to talk and getting the student to be more engaged, as I have learned that getting the student talking rather than the teacher benefits the student more as they are less likely to get distracted. I use my own revision methods that have helped me and I also provide regular feedback to the student at the end of the lesson, depending on what they need to focus on. I also make the lessons heavily based on the topics that the student may not understand or find the topics a bit difficult. If a diagram is needed to explain a particular process then I would draw it out and show them through the video and explain it to them while going through the diagram. I normally set set them a small amount of homework which normally consists of doing past papers or past paper questions on the topic that we covered in lesson. I also use analogies that the student can relate to everyday life to help them understand the content better.
