About Rohan

As a former applicant, I had formulated optimal strategies in various stages of the medical application process drawing on advice from friends, medical societies, and internet resources to find success. However, this was an extensive research process often requiring the deciphering of conflicting information scattered across a plethora of resources which became expensive, confusing, and time consuming. This gave me a broader perspective into the application process in which I had learnt to assimilate information and convey up to date and efficient strategies with my extensive tutoring background. It has always been a passion of mine to help students succeed in the process just as others have assisted me!

About the lesson

I offer tutoring in:
- UCAT exam practice
- MMI including mocks
- Personal Statement review
- A-level Biology and Chemistry

We will work towards strengthening all aspects of the medical application through tailored lessons focused on your specific needs! Lessons will involve assessing current progress made so far, learning optimal strategies for the UCAT and MMI, implementing these continually through practice, and reviewing personal statements to be confident and well structured.

Lesson plans will be constructed based on student needs, SMART goals and through various teaching styles. Standard lesson lengths are 1/1.5 hours.

Regarding my experience as a tutor:
- I have previously privately mentored aspiring applicants in MMI interview skills and UCAT practice via internet methods such as Zoom calls (2021-2022)
- I have tutored sixth form students for medical school entrance in our medical society with emphasis on practical interview skills and running debates on current medical issues (2019-2020)
