About Olivia

I want to help tutor others as I believe that a good education is one of the most important foundations in life. Having worked with children in many environments in the past, I have found that I love being around their enthusiasm and excitement for new experiences which I would love to expand into an academic context. For those who are older, I clearly remember how stressful it can be especially when applying to universities, and how much being confident in your knowledge can help to ease this feeling. I therefore would love to help anyone build up this confidence so that they can enjoy their time left at school.

About the lesson

I am very flexible and can tutor from 30 to 90 minutes at a time. Techniques I use will be adapted to each student's needs taking into account their schedule, current level of knowledge, and any upcoming deadlines. I can teach Biology up to A-Level, scoring 9s and A*s at GCSE and A-Level, however I can tutor for any age from primary school. I have previous experience tutoring for the UCAT, scoring a 3180 in my own, as well as interviews (having been accepted into 8 out of 9 universities that I have interviewed at for both medicine and physiotherapy). I also have experience working with children is mainly in a sporting environment teaching Lacrosse and Netball as well as working in more general sports camps and musical theatre camps.
