About Mariana

I am a medical student at FMUL and I have always loved learning and teaching.

I have experience teaching children and teenagers and I have also received tutoring, which makes me understanding my students' doubts and allows me to identify their main difficulties and the best methods to overcome them together!

I finished high school with an average of 19.3 and I have the FCE level in English certified by Cambridge School; my areas of expertise are:
- English (1st to 11th)
- Sciences (1st to 9th)
- Biology and Geology (10th and 11th)
- Portuguese (1st to 9th)
- Tutoring in any subject until 9 th grade
but I can help in other areas, don't hesitate to ask!

About the lesson

Over time I have acquired various study and learning methods that have enabled me to achieve good results and that I now hope to be able to share with my students, so that they can achieve all their goals and achieve the greatest success!

For me, the most important thing is that the student can really understand the subject and not just memorize it, so my goal will always be to initially simplify the topics as much as possible and only then introduce more complex concepts, according to the necessary requirements and adapted to each situation.

I recognize that each person has their own study method, so I like to use different approaches and strategies and understand which one works best for each individual student.

In addition, I often provide summaries or sheets for each person's individual study and I am always willing to answer any questions outside of the tutoring sessions when necessary!
