My teaching approach is determined based on discussion with the student to find an approach that works for both is us. My philosophy to teach is to collaborate rather than instruct and I believe in recognizing the students strengths and using those as an advantage to further their learning.

I have worked with Mehr on multiple philanthropy and research projects. She is an outstandingly hard worker and incredible mentor. She mentored me in global health advocacy and clinical research, which has really helped my career.
Mehr is an amazing teacher! She explains concepts in a way that is easy to understand. She has a great wealth of knowledge as a medical doctor. She is very patient and has a great attitude, which I really appreciate. I would recommend her as a teacher to anyone.
