I prefer to take GROUP classes for BTech/B.E/Diploma Mechanical Engineering students at my home/student home. But depending on a case-to-case basis, I may do individual classes too. As my specialities come under the Thermo-fluid domain, I can help students on subjects like Thermodynamics, Fluid Mechanics, Heat Transfer, Jet Propulsion, Internal Combustion Engines, Fuels, Gas Dynamics, Refrigeration and Air Conditioning etc. On a parallel note, I also offer help on Solid Mechanics/ Strength of Materials.
For the first-year students, I'd love to provide tutoring on Engineering Graphics. Engineering Math 1 & 2 can also be offered provided there are at least 3 or 4 students.
I try to keep the classes fun and interesting. Getting the student to be at ease with me is the first thing I ensure. Once that is done, it becomes easier to catch the student's interest in what I am delivering. To ensure that I don't fail in this, I keep the batch size minimal (not more than 5) to have better access to each student during the class and give personalised attention.
Classes are always filled with a lot of experiential learning. The theory taught is amply complemented with real-life examples, and so, video grabs and pictures are shared are with the students to aid their understandings. Problems are explored from multiple textbooks to ensure that the fundamental concept is thoroughly imbibed.
Concise lecture notes/ subject-specific handouts are distributed to aid the students to refresh the corresponding segments quickly. Online classes and Classes conducted at my home are recorded, and the recordings are shared with each student within 24 hours.

My daughter started tuitions with Ajay two months ago. The transformation we see is phenomenal. She feels she has now begun to understand the very basics of engineering which her school failed to make her see.
She says that Ajay's teaching methodology is unique and much fun, she actually looks forward to the classes which she initially used to fret about, since it is early morning and she isn't a morning person.
Ajay is punctual and does not miss a single class. Overall, I am pleased with the feedback my daughter gave me and the feedback she got from. Her school as well. Thank you, Ajay! You have made a huge difference in just two months!"TEACHING is a calling too. And I've always thought that teachers in their way are holy- ANGELS leading their FLOCKS out of the darkness" said Jeannette Walls the American Author and Journalist.
Ajay the teacher, is angel like that.Ajay and I have worked together for over 4.5 years as assistant professors, and I can state with no second thought that he is one of the best and most sought after teachers of our department. A space craft engineer by degree and a passionate teacher, Ajay can teach very fundamentals to highly advanced Mechanical Engineering courses and he does it with utmost commitment. Engineering Graphics, Thermodynamics (basic & applied), Fluid Mechanics, Heat Transfer are a few noteworthy subjects which he specializes in.
If you are looking for a tutor, I recommend Ajay without reservations. He will prove to be one of the best teachers you will ever meet.See more recommendations
