About Thea
Helloo! My name is Thea and I am a recent McMaster graduate with two degrees: Hon. Life Sciences and Psychology. I have always liked psychology, but I fell in love with it during my first year of uni. Since then, I have been very passionate about this subject and I love working with people to help them achieve their goals!
Being a student can be very challenging, especially in High School where you are preparing to enter University. As a recent University student, I understand how overwhelming school can get, and will do my absolute best to provide you with as much support as possible to make that transition easier. Having taken several courses in a plethora of areas of psychology, my understanding of the subject is well-rounded and runs deep. We will work together to make you a better student with no judgment of what you currently know and don't know!

- There is ABSOLUTELY no shame in how much or little you know. We all started from 0 so there is no judgment however challenged you may feel with the course. This is a safe space and you can achieve anything you set your goals to!
- As a science major, I am very acquainted with properly communicating hard scientific language and concepts to just about any type of audience.
- We will be taking a look at your course outline and setting up a plan to study and practice based on your current knowledge and what you learned in High School class.
- We will try different studying methods to see what works best for you and we will work on improving not only your grade but also your understanding of the concept. We can also work on preparing for upcoming assignments and tests.
