About Gwyneth
I graduated Summa Cum Laude from Boston University with Bachelor's in Music. I was top of my class in Music Theory, History, and Song Literature classes. While performance has not always been easy for me, the academic side of music has felt natural since the start. I firmly believe that being a smart performer has made me a more effective one. I currently study Voice and Opera at the McGill University Schulich School of Music.

I teach students by meeting them where they're at--sometimes professors explain things in a way that doesn't click well, and it helps to hear another perspective. I have helped many of my fellow students in both my own year and those below me with voice leading, harmonizing, tonal analysis, understanding of music history, and even vocal literature. My approach is to share methods of learning that have worked for either myself or others until something clicks, be it memorization, comprehension, or simply finding a way to manage an overwhelming course load. No two students learn the same way, so no teaching methodology should be one size fits all.
