About John
Hello, I’m John.
I hold an MBA, an MSc in Occupational Psychology and a BSc in Psychology, and currently work as a Regional Hospital Director, leading specialist healthcare services and multidisciplinary teams. Alongside my leadership career, I’m passionate about helping students develop the knowledge, confidence and critical thinking needed to succeed.
My background allows me to combine strong academic knowledge with real-world business and leadership experience. Rather than teaching theory in isolation, I enjoy showing how business concepts such as strategy, leadership, organisational behaviour and decision-making are applied in practice every day.
Whether you’re studying A-Level Business, an undergraduate degree or an MBA, my aim is to help you understand complex topics, strengthen your academic writing and build the confidence to achieve your potential.

Business is much more than learning models and theories – it’s about understanding how organisations operate, why leaders make decisions and how strategy, people and performance come together in the real world. My aim is to help you develop the knowledge, critical thinking and confidence needed to achieve strong academic results while gaining skills that extend beyond the classroom.
I tailor every lesson to your individual goals, whether you’re studying A-Level Business, an undergraduate degree, an MBA or another postgraduate qualification. Together, we can explore subjects such as leadership and management, organisational behaviour, strategy, operations management, human resources, change management and business ethics, as well as essay writing, critical analysis and dissertation support.
Alongside my academic qualifications, I hold an MBA and apply business principles every day as a Regional Hospital Director, leading specialist healthcare services and multidisciplinary teams. This enables me to bring business concepts to life by connecting academic theory with practical leadership, decision-making, service improvement and organisational performance.
Whether you’re preparing for exams, improving coursework, planning a dissertation or developing stronger academic writing skills, I’ll provide structured, supportive coaching to help you build confidence and achieve your goals. Rather than simply giving answers, I’ll help you understand how to analyse business problems, evaluate evidence, construct well-reasoned arguments and communicate your ideas effectively.
