About Matthew
As a college student, and an English student myself, learning the ins-and-outs of Academic English is something I always consider to be a top priority. Graduating from the IB program at Curtis High School, English was taken very seriously. I was trained to write essays and analyze texts on a higher level, and I enjoyed every minute of it! I am happy to assist students who need some extra help.

My tutoring style generally focuses on drawing logical yet unique conclusions by way of creative thinking and a thorough, thought-provoking dissection of the task at hand. My lessons would consist of one, overarching learning target. We would go over the material, assess it, then move on to specific exercises that serve to bolster the understanding of the material. I am always open to repeating certain tasks if the student would like further practice. I mainly aim to tutor middle school and early high-school level students.
