About Sam

I am currently at university studying for a degree in Mathematics at Durham in which I am currently predicted a 1st. I attended a specialist Mathematics school for A Levels where I achieved A*A*A* in Maths, Further Maths and Phsyics.

About the lesson

As I am passionate about my subject I find it easy to teach content to others: it comes naturally to me. My teaching approach depends on a student’s knowledge of the topic in question. However, I believe firstly covering the topic in depth to ensure an initial understanding followed by lots of practise with questions and examples works best.

He understands that not everyone has a ‘maths brain’ and he finds ways to help these types of people to overcome this issue.
