About EJIDEAKU

Hello! My name is Innocent, and I am a Mathematics graduate with a strong passion for teaching and helping students achieve their academic goals.
I believe that Mathematics becomes much easier when concepts are explained clearly and patiently. My lessons are student-centered, interactive, and adapted to each learner’s level and learning pace. I break complex topics into simple, understandable steps and provide plenty of examples and practice to help students build confidence.
I have experience tutoring students and preparing learners for examinations such as WAEC and JAMB, as well as supporting students who simply want to improve their Mathematics skills.
Whether you are struggling with a particular topic, preparing for an important examination, or looking to strengthen your foundation in Mathematics, I am here to help. My goal is to make every lesson productive, engaging, and encouraging.

About the lesson

My Approach to Tutoring and Teaching

My approach to tutoring is student-centered, practical, and focused on helping learners understand concepts rather than simply memorizing formulas or answers. I believe every student learns differently, so I adapt my teaching style to the learner’s level, pace, and specific needs.

Teaching Techniques and Methodology

I begin by identifying the student’s current level and areas of difficulty. I then explain concepts step by step using simple language, worked examples, illustrations, and practical applications. I encourage students to ask questions and actively participate during lessons.

For Mathematics, I use a combination of explanation, guided practice, problem-solving exercises, revision, and regular feedback. I also give students opportunities to solve problems independently so they can build confidence and develop strong analytical and critical-thinking skills.

I aim to create a relaxed and supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable making mistakes and asking questions. My goal is not only to help students improve their grades but also to develop their confidence and ability to solve problems independently.

Typical Lesson Length

A typical lesson lasts 60 minutes, although I can adjust the duration depending on the student’s age, level, learning objectives, and schedule.

Qualifications and Experience

I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics from Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Nigeria. I have experience tutoring and teaching Mathematics to students at different levels, including learners preparing for school examinations and external examinations such as WAEC and JAMB.

My background in Mathematics has strengthened my analytical and problem-solving abilities, while my teaching experience has helped me develop patience, clear communication, and the ability to explain difficult topics in an understandable way.
