About Reenu

I have a degree in Computer Science. I studied math until graduation. I have been tutoring math for 10 years. I am a certified tutor in India. Currently, I am teaching 13 students in India of grades 1 to 9. I also teach reasoning and aptitude to 20 of them. I was a Certified Cuemath teacher and have got many students from another site, Teacheron. With time, kids develop a strong mathematical foundation. I have an encouraging attitude. I have a good rapport with all my students. I do a lot of problem-solving questions with them. Lessons are tailored to student needs and the topic is decided as per student needs, interests, and parent expectations.

About the lesson

I first try to grasp student expertise in a topic and then based upon it give examples to help understand. Examples relate to daily life. I believe in cueing the answer rather than directly giving the answer to the student. I believe it is okay to mark mistakes but learn from them. I encourage kids to think logically and answer the question. I have been teaching many international students for 2 years. I have been doing OC, selective test, AMC, ICAS, SASMO, and Kangaroo math preparation with them. As of now, I am teaching 12 international students, 7 of them are from Australia, 2 from the USA, 2 from Singapore, and 1 from the UK.
