Hi, I'm Kayla! I'm currently completing a Master of Psychology and have a strong academic background in both psychology and criminology. I'm passionate about making learning less overwhelming and helping students build confidence in their abilities.
I know firsthand that studying isn't always easy. There are times when concepts just don't click, motivation disappears, or assignments become overwhelming. That's why I aim to be the kind of tutor I would have wanted as a student: approachable, patient, and genuinely invested in helping you succeed.
Whether you need help understanding course content, preparing for exams, improving assignments, or simply staying organized throughout the semester, I'm here to help you. I genuinely enjoy seeing others grow in confidence and reach goals they didn't think were possible.

Every student learns differently, myself included, that's why I tailor each lesson to suit your goals, learning style, and pace. Whether you're preparing for an exam, tackling a difficult topic, or working through an assignment, my focus is on building understanding rather than just memorisation.
For students with ADHD or those who struggle with organisation, I can also help with time management, study planning, accountability, and developing strategies to stay on track throughout the semester.
Lessons are typically 30 - 60 minutes and are conducted online via teams or zoom, with in-person sessions at Griffith University Library available by arrangement during semester. I tutor high school and university students in psychology and criminology.
I'm currently completing a Master of Psychology and have extensive academic experience in psychology, criminology, academic writing, and psychological assessment. My aim is to create a supportive, non-judgmental environment where students feel comfortable asking questions.
