About Merry
I graduated with my BSN from the University of Tennessee - Health Sciences Center in 2009. Obstetric nursing was always my passion and I worked to become a labor and delivery nurse in 2011. As my passion for women's health grew, so did my love for learning, so I followed my heart and became a Certified Nurse Midwife after graduating with my MS from NYU in 2016.
I am still a practicing CNM and I am also the deputy program director at the Army's OB/GYN nursing specialty program, which is the same program that I once attended in 2011 that started me on my path to where I am now. I love what I do in teaching and in patient care!

I use the adult learning model when teaching and use various individual methods to help the student understand the material while also learning the best way to guide the student to achieve their learning goals.
I will only tutor women's health, obstetric, and reproductive nursing level academics. I can assist with these topics outside of nursing courses, but not for other general science topics outside of nursing courses.
