About Naya
I hold a Master’s degree in Music and have been teaching guitar for over eight years, working with students from a variety of backgrounds and musical preferences. My approach balances disciplined technique training with creative exploration, making each lesson engaging and tailored. Over the years, I’ve guided beginners picking up their first guitar as well as seasoned players looking to refine advanced skills. My teaching style focuses on unlocking each student’s unique potential, helping them develop a personal sound while mastering essential fundamentals. Outside teaching, I actively perform and compose, constantly exploring new techniques and genres. This keeps my lessons fresh and relevant, ensuring students benefit from the latest insights in guitar performance, songwriting, and musical expression, both in traditional and modern contexts.

Learning guitar with me focuses on building both technical skill and musical expression from the ground up. You’ll start with posture, tuning, and tone production before diving into structured exercises designed to make your fingers agile and accurate while developing a clear, rich sound.
Once you’ve established core techniques, we’ll explore chord progressions, scales, and rhythmic variations across different styles. You’ll learn how to transition smoothly, recognize musical patterns, and create a consistent practice routine that strengthens your playing and deepens your understanding of the instrument.
As your skills grow, we’ll tackle improvisation and composition, applying music theory in real-time playing. You’ll experiment with phrasing, dynamics, and tempo changes, gaining the confidence to perform, record, or collaborate creatively with other musicians in any setting.
