About Yasmin

I hold a Master’s degree in Music and have 7 years of experience teaching guitar to students of diverse ages and skill levels. My own musical journey began with the guitar during my teenage years, and it has since blossomed into both a passion and a profession. Teaching allows me to share the joy of music while helping students unlock their potential and develop their unique playing styles. My teaching approach emphasizes foundational skills like chord transitions, rhythm, and fingerstyle techniques, but I also prioritize creativity and musical expression. I believe every student learns differently, so I tailor lessons to fit individual goals, interests, and learning paces. Whether a student wants to play casually, prepare for exams, or perform live, I ensure each lesson is focused, enjoyable, and rewarding. Throughout my career, I’ve worked with students who enjoy a variety of genres, including rock, blues, folk, and acoustic music. I aim to foster both technical proficiency and musical confidence, encouraging students to explore their own voice on the guitar. I also provide guidance on practice strategies, performance preparation, and music theory to support comprehensive growth. Outside of teaching, I actively perform and collaborate with other musicians, which keeps my skills sharp and my teaching fresh. I bring that real-world experience into my lessons, helping students connect what they learn with practical musicianship. Ultimately, my goal is to inspire a lifelong love of music and empower students to reach their fullest potential on the guitar.

About the lesson
