About Clarina
I, Clarina Solomon am a recent BMus graduate at the University of Cape Town. I also spent a year and a half at the University of Stellenbosch in the field of music. My expertise in the field of study covered a vast range of subjects including Music Theory, Music Education, exposure to various language for singers, Operatic training and Aural skills.
My achievements over the years include lead roles and solo performances on World renowned stages, leading role as Belle in Beauty and the Beast (Huguenot High school), soloist performances at The Baxter Theatre. In my time at Stellenbosch University, I was part of the Stellenbosch Chamber Choir where I also had solo roles and travelled to countries such as Hong Kong and Germany.
In 2023, I was fortunate to represent the student body of the South African College of Music , UCT, as their academic officer in which I had an influential role in guiding and directing students concerns. I was also exposed to various meetings with Head of Departments and student councils to discuss student matters.

I am offering lessons that are individual-based (at the pace and level that each of my students feel comfortable with). I believe in good communication and am always willing to adapt to my students academic and practical needs as well as opinions.
I am proficient in the English language as well as Afrikaans.
Students can expect a high level of academic tutoring taken from my experience as well as tutelage and methodologies learnt through the South African College of Music at the University of Cape Town.
