About Elliott
Hi there, my name is Elliott.
I completed my Bachelor of Laws with First Class Honours in 2021. I am now undertaking further studies to complete a Master of Laws at the University of Melbourne. I currently work in the legal industry and am a sessional academic at a university in Australia.
I am passionate about teaching because I believe that it is my duty in life to help others grow, learn, and to be challenged by new ways of thinking. I love studying and learning new skills and knowledge about the way the world works. The law is profoundly complex and is very telling of how a society functions - who and what we value; what we deem to be good and bad; and who will receive privilege and who will not.
In teaching law, I believe that I am not only doing a service to the community by helping my peers understand the law, but also doing a service to the profession by encouraging and helping form our future lawyers, judges, and advocates.
I would love to have a chat with you and to be a part of your journey through academic studies and early career.

My main focus of the lessons is to ensure the student not only understands the content but is also able to apply it to exam questions, think creatively, and to adopt study skills and techniques that can be used for any and all subjects.
I will be directed by the student according to where their not-so-strong points lie while keeping in mind upcoming assessment deadlines and exams.
I use lecture notes, case studies, case notes, exam-style questions, power-points, flashcards, flow charts, and a multitude of study tools to cater to all learning styles.
