About Sofia
I am a fully qualified teacher from Oxfordshire, England and I have been teaching for almost 10 years in both primary and secondary schools. Recently, I completed a masters at the University of Oxford, and the experience of studying at such a prestigious institution really inspired my love for researching and academic writing. I am constantly participating and contributing to academic research, through journal articles to university-based research, I am knowledgeable about many areas of teaching theory and practices. I have supported many undergraduate and PGCE students to successfully complete assignments, reflecting on paragraph structures, but also how to successfully link points and arguments for fluency. Outside of work, I love snowboarding, painting, listening to music and reading.

Every lesson is completely tailored to your needs, I am here completely for you, so we will work together to best fit your needs. Approaches are varied, but I prefer the most practical methods possible, and hope to provide tangible outcomes each lesson. Lesson length varies depending on your needs, but typically 30-60 minutes, but some 90 minute sessions do also have value. For me at uni, a 90 minute session in which I was held accountable for writing, would have helped me massively! My lessons are for academic writing of all ages (not just university), providing support in all skills necessary for high-level essay writing.
