About Kate
I am a French and Spanish teacher and tutor and have been for over 5 years. I have guided 5 students through the final years of their GCSE with positive feedback from all their parents. I currently tutor 8 GCSE students across the two languages and 5 KS3 students. I also teach 12 KS1/2 students privately as well as teaching at a primary school.

I base my lessons around each student's strengths, weaknesses, loves and hates as this brings the best out in the student. The majority of my lessons begin with some oral work and then we work on written weaknesses, grammar or vocabulary, and usually finish with a language game or reading of a native storybook - which all my students love! Some even take the books home themselves to read in their own time.

Kate was an excellent tutor for my younger brother. He really struggled with Spanish in school because he found lessons boring and was really motivated to learn. Kate managed to teach him in a way that was fun, inventive but was specific to my brothers needs. She managed in the space of a year to progress my brother from a predicted grade of 5 at GCSE to an 8.
Helped me move from the bottom to the top set in GCSE Spanish. A great teacher and really fun lessons!
