About Oslavia
I have a masters degree in film studies (with a focus on animation and digital media) and a bachelors degree in critical and cultural practices from Canadian universities. I have a diploma in arts teaching and teaching experience at the undergraduate and elementary levels. I have also been involved in film festivals in Canada and reviewed films for different platforms. I have also published in academic and indexed journals about the medium.

Using historical texts, essays, reviews, interviews, theoretical texts and movies and shorts, we will analyze different cinematic contents to know the general history of film, animation, or an specific area of interest to you. The study of cinema is as vast as the medium, but the two main approaches to its study are contextual and formal. To these we can add the different periods, genres, geographies, and media in which it is subdivided. We will focus on an area of study, helping us with the theoretical and historical texts to give you an overview or detailed vision of the cinema of your interest.
