About Amiram

From Products to Digital Worlds I am an Industrial Designer and a graduate of the Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design. For the past 14 years, I have lived and breathed design in all its forms: from tangible consumer products to complex mobile applications, games, and user interfaces (UI). My career has been driven by one core belief: Design is a universal language. Whether I am crafting a physical object or a digital environment, the principles remain the same—the constant dialogue between Form and Function. My Background & Experience: • Industrial Design: Years of bringing products from a sketch on paper to a functional 3D model. • Digital Ecosystems: Extensive experience in App design and Game development, understanding how users interact with objects in virtual spaces. • The Academic Edge: My education at Bezalel provided me with a deep theoretical foundation in aesthetics, ergonomics, and structural thinking. My Method: Holistic Design Approach In my lessons, I don’t just teach you "where the buttons are" in Shapr3D. I teach you how to see. My teaching method is built on three pillars: 1. Thinking in 3D: We will develop your spatial perception. Before we model a single line, we understand the geometry, the proportions, and the logic behind the object. 2. Efficiency & Precision: Using my 14 years of professional experience, I will teach you the "cleanest" way to build models. This means your files will be professional, editable, and ready for any output—be it a 3D printer or a game engine. 3. Cross-Platform Logic: Because I come from both the physical and digital worlds, I teach you how to create designs that work everywhere. We will discuss materials, usability, and how your 3D model fits into a larger ecosystem. Why learn with me? You are not just hiring a tutor; you are gaining a partner for your creative journey. I bring a high-level, "Bezalel-style" critique and mentorship to every session, helping you refine your eye as much as your technical skills.

Design Thinking through 3D Modeling
Learn to bridge the gap between a concept and a professional 3D model.

In this course, we won’t just learn which buttons to click in Shapr3D.

We will explore the professional workflow of an Industrial Designer.

Whether you are using an iPad with an Apple Pencil or a Desktop, I will teach you how to translate your ideas into precise, functional, and beautiful 3D geometry.

What we will focus on:
• The Designer’s Workflow: How to start with a clean sketch and build a model that is easy to modify and iterate.
• Mastering Shapr3D: Navigating the most intuitive CAD software—from basic 2D sketching and constraints to advanced Boolean operations, Lofts, and Revolves.
• Form & Function: We will discuss the "Why" behind the "How." How do proportions, ergonomics, and structural integrity influence your 3D model?
• Real-World Application: Preparing your models for the next step—whether it’s 3D printing (STL), professional engineering (STEP), or high-end rendering for your portfolio.
The Lesson Structure:
Each session is tailored to your specific project or skill level.
• For Beginners: We start with the fundamentals of 3D space and build a simple, functional object in the first hour.
• For Advanced Users: We dive into complex surfacing, assembly of multiple parts, and optimizing designs for manufacturing or digital assets (apps/games).
Why Shapr3D?

As someone who has spent 14 years designing across physical and digital platforms, I find Shapr3D to be the most fluid tool for creative expression. It allows us to focus on the design rather than fighting the software.
