Hailing from the land beneath the clouds in Sabah, Malaysia, Brian attended the Wanganui School of Design in New Zealand where he submitted a short-film thesis “Soundscape” for his thesis and obtained a Bachelor of Computer Graphic Design.
As an editor his creations spanned tv commercials, music videos, reality shows and multimedia presentations. In his time as a producer at Astro, a pay tv broadcaster, Brian showed a knack for combining sound and expression to elevate his spots to hit all the emotional buttons. His ideas combine a playfulness with a desire to tell the world a story – fantastical, comical, poignant, ironic or ecstatic. The result – highly watchable spots that significantly increased viewership as they moved effortlessly and spontaneously to the indomitable beat of the human spirit.
