Katy is very experienced working with international learners, having tutored many Chinese masters’ students, both in person and online. Her patience and task focused approach will help you to understand how to manage your research and writing and develop the best method that works for you, whilst still understanding the requirements for dissertation success. Follow up one hour sessions for each person are 1-1 over MSTeams or Zoom and can be arranged at a mutually agreed time on an individual session or block booking basis.

You may have started well, but find you have that mid-dissertation slump, where your motivation to know how to continue seems lacking, or perhaps more specific areas are challenging, such as writing the literature review, designing your research, presenting your findings or writing your discussion and conclusion. These are the moments when an experienced tutor can help to guide you to unblock what’s holding you back and help you to move forward with your writing.
