My teaching approach for singers centers around vocal wellness, mindfulness, and sustainable voice care—perfect for both The Soloist in Training and The Church Ensemble Player. Each lesson begins with gentle, targeted warm-ups to activate the voice without strain. We focus on healthy vocal placement that supports tone and longevity, helping you sing freely and with confidence. I guide students in developing hydration habits, vocal cooldowns, and body awareness that protect the voice through long rehearsals or services. Mindfulness is woven into our practice through breathwork, body scans, and short meditative pauses. Tools like guided breathing apps, mindfulness timers, and vocal tracking apps help you stay grounded, focused, and aware of your progress. I help you balance vocal goals with emotional well-being, ensuring that singing stays joyful and never overwhelming. We explore techniques to manage nerves, build inner calm, and reconnect with the heart behind your sound. My goal is to help you grow not only as a singer but as a mindful, resilient performer. Together, we’ll build a routine that honors your voice and brings lasting joy to your singing journey.

With over 6 years of teaching experience and a Bachelor of Contemporary Music (Voice Major), I specialize in guiding singers toward confident, expressive performance. I’ve worked extensively with students preparing for auditions, competitions, and stage roles—helping them fine-tune every detail from technique to interpretation. Whether you’re aiming for a lead in a musical, preparing a classical recital, or returning to singing after years away, I tailor lessons to your individual goals.
I teach a wide range of styles including Classical, Broadway, Pop-Rock, and Music Theater. My lessons focus on building vocal range, developing agility, strengthening breath control, and mastering diction for clear, powerful delivery. I also help students craft compelling performances through dramatic interpretation and intelligent repertoire choices. I’ve coached school students preparing for talent shows, drama majors gearing up for key roles, and adults rediscovering their voice.
