About Blaize

I started my musical journey at 4 years old with private guitar lessons from a great music teacher in my area. In my early years I learned how to play blues and rock guitar from the music of Stevie Ray Vaughan, Led Zeppelin, the Beatles, and many more. My weekly guitar lessons became my favorite activity that I made my parents let me have two every week. In middle school I decided to learn more about classical and jazz guitar. I took lessons from another classical guitar teacher in the area and dove deep into the classical guitar realm, while also playing in jazz bands and combos at my school. Eventually I went to Berklee college of music and studied jazz guitar with the greats: Cecil Alexander, Rick Peckham, John Baboian, Sheryl Bailey, and even managed to get a masterclass with Victor Wooten.

Taking private lessons has been the most helpful tool in my musical journey and I want to share the same feeling with my students. That is why I love teaching.

About the lesson

In your first free lesson we will create a custom roadmap towards becoming the guitarist you want to be. This will be tailored to your goals and experience level.

We will talk about the following topics:
- What are your musical goals?
- What kind of music do you want to play?
- What is the best way. to reach your goals?
- What made you pick up guitar?

His explanations and expectations of her are very clear and achievable and he never gets upset or angry if she gets distracted. He’s very knowledgeable and encouraging. She looks forward to lessons every week and so do we! So thankful we found him and that he’s helping our girl learn a love of music.
