Hey, I'm Chess Coach Ted, guiding people achieve their desired chess goals!

As a coach, my biggest focus is truly connecting with my students. Understanding their strengths and turning them into confidence, while recognizing their weaknesses to help improve their skills, is the core of my teaching approach. I believe that open communication and teamwork, combined with a shared goal, always lead to great results. I’m ready and excited to share my experience and support my students on their journey.

About the lesson

All level students are welcome, including absolute beginners. Lesson type depends on student's knowledge. What to expect from classes? 1. Theoretical: Opening, Middle-game, Endgame understanding. Chess terminology, rules, game analysis, mistake analysis, grandmasters game analysis, strategy setup, attack-defense setup. 2. Practical: Chess games live with coach and players around the world, online tournaments, puzzles, drills.

Cory is an advanced beginner in a transition of becoming a solid amateur chess player. Surprisingly, he has reached 1400+ rating points on his own in only 1.5 year. Adding consistent practice to his genetics will definitely unlock a new level in his chess career.
