About Nishok

Hi, I’m Nishok! I first started playing chess when I was six, got my FIDE rating at eight… and then completely disappeared from the chess world for years. Life happened, I studied, became a business analyst, did my Master’s at the University of Edinburgh, started my own media company and somewhere along the way, chess kept calling me back. Recently, I picked it up again, started playing tournaments, and realized something: I absolutely love teaching this game. It began with my best friends, then a few students here and there… and before I knew it, I was hooked on sharing the excitement of chess. I teach everyone, kids discovering their first checkmate, adults looking for a new hobby, beginners wanting to finally beat their friends, even people who just want to train their brain in a fun way. I’m 23, so I get both generations, the kids and the grown-ups. Money’s nice (let’s be real), but I do this because it makes me genuinely happy. Chess has given me so much joy, and teaching it keeps that fire alive. If you join my class, you won’t just learn chess, you’ll actually enjoy learning it.

About the lesson

Ready to finally understand chess and start winning games that matter (like beating your friends and family or even at FIDE level)?

Hi, I’m Nishok, a passionate chess player with a FIDE rating of 1660, Chess.com Rapid 1938, Lichess Rapide 2078, here to make learning chess fun, clear, and exciting for anyone at any age.

Whether you’re a parent wanting your child to develop focus and strategic thinking, a complete beginner who’s never moved a piece before, or an adult looking for a smart new hobby, I’ve got you covered.

What you’ll get in our lessons:

- Beginner to Intermediate Training: Step-by-step training for beginners and intermediates: openings tailored to your style, practical middle-game tactics, and a confident, strategic endgame approach.
- Personalized Lessons: Each class adapted to your skill level and goals.
- Practical, Fun Learning: Learn by playing, not just theory.
- All Ages Welcome: Kids, teens, and adults, anyone can start fresh.

I keep things friendly, clear, and interactive, like learning from a friend who happens to know the game really well. By the end, you won’t just understand chess; you’ll start winning with confidence.

Let’s make your first checkmate happen. Message me today and let’s begin!
