About Preethi
Why I Want to Teach Cooking and Crafts I’ve always believed that creativity and craftsmanship are at the heart of everything we do. Whether it’s in the kitchen, where ingredients come together to create something magical, or with crafts, where simple materials are transformed into works of art, the joy of creation is something I’ve always cherished. It’s this passion for both cooking and crafting that drives me to teach others. Over the years, I’ve developed a deep understanding of both these art forms—through trial and error, learning from experts, and simply immersing myself in the process. But what excites me the most is sharing that knowledge with others, helping them unlock their own potential, and watching them grow in confidence as they develop new skills. For me, teaching isn’t just about transferring knowledge; it’s about inspiring others to discover their creative voices and embrace the joy that comes with learning. Cooking and crafting offer endless possibilities for self-expression, problem-solving, and relaxation. When I teach, I see the spark in my students’ eyes when they master a new recipe or craft technique. It’s incredibly fulfilling to help them take something they were once unfamiliar with and turn it into something they can be proud of. But beyond the skills themselves, I want to teach because I believe everyone deserves the opportunity to experience the sense of accomplishment that comes with creating something from scratch. Cooking a meal for loved ones or making a handmade gift can be deeply rewarding—and I want to help my students experience that sense of pride and fulfilment. The reason I love teaching is simple: it allows me to share my passion with others, to see them grow, and to inspire them to create something beautiful—whether it’s a delicious dish or a unique craft project. It’s this connection, this exchange of knowledge, that makes teaching so meaningful to me. Teaching cooking and crafts is more than just a career for me; it’s a chance to pass on my love for creativity and make a positive impact on others’ lives.
