About Wang Huang
As a Master's student in the Jacobs School of Music studying under Distinguished Professor Arnaldo Cohen, I was selected as one of the assistant instructors for the piano department. I have won numerous national competitions back in my hometown and also played with orchestras there. I have over 4 years of teaching experience and is comfortable with teaching beginners to advanced students. Placing students in the centre of my teaching, I identify weaknesses quickly and am proactive in improving them. Understanding that students spend much more time away from me, I produce independent students that questions and thinks critically. I will guide my students through every step at the beginning and have a strong emphasis on a strong foundation. After which the student will be continuously challenged to discover their fullest potential. Lesson plans will be specifically designed for every student according to their needs and goals.
