About Bianca
I am a 26-year-old anthropologist and am currently writing my master's research dissertation. My project is about how relationships are negotiated between humans and wildlife in the context of live-streamed safaris. I have combined a number of anthropological methodologies such as multi-sited ethnography, participant observation and interviewing. Additionally, I have also incorporated film and social media analysis. I enjoy training and teaching and would like to work towards becoming an academic lecturer. I have done 2nd-year economic anthropology tutoring at the University of Pretoria during my honors year in 2021. Moreover, I compiled and aided in training interns as manager of the High-Profile team at my previous job as a social media analyst at Farasion. My role was to do social media screening for high-profile executives and celebrities and training for recruitment and vetting agencies.
