About Eric
I have over 30 years of corporate software development experience applying solutions to innumerable business challenges on several platforms using several languages.
The languages and platforms change but the method of validation the core functionality through insightful test scenarios remained the same. This is the testing paradigm and the test driven approach achieving immediate feedback in the form of running software. The tools for testing and mocking have gotten better and make this easier to perform. Add the ability to use tests incorporated with Continuous Integration/ Continuous Development, this approach becomes very powerful.

Agile development is the core methodology using Test Driven Development. This will begin at a rudimentary level of basic programming using Java/JUnit to understand the test first principles. Then incorporate mocking at various levels of complexity using common mocking frameworks. All with continuous feedback through running software. Lessons can be tailor made to the level of the student from entry level to corporate developer. Practical methods of iterating in complexity with immediate feedback are the core to grasping any language and gaining confidence in its usage. My experience has taken me across many languages and into very complex applications. This common approach allows a developer to create rock-solid solutions, running solutions.
