About Harris
I am an Islamic Studies and Tajweed teacher with experience in schools, universities, madrassas, and Islamic organisations. Education: - Associate in Islamic Studies & Leadership - BS (Hons) in Communication and New Media Technology - Ijazah in Qur’an (Tajweed, Recitation, Tafseer), Hadith, Fiqh, and Seerah Experience: Head Imam – Beaconhouse National University Ustaadh – Naseeha Institute Founder – Qonnect (Tajweed, Tafseer, Tadabbur, Tafakkur) Program Director – QUEST, an Islamic youth engagement platform Teaching the Qur’an is my passion. I make lessons clear, engaging, and practical, tailoring them to each student’s pace. I provide notes, practice materials, and guidance so students can grow spiritually, intellectually, and confidently in their recitation and understanding.

I teach Tajweed using a mix of flipped classroom and the BOPPPS model. First, we explore the reason behind each rule—like why certain sounds are stretched—so it’s easy to understand. Then, we practise together, find the rule in real recitation, and work on pronunciation until it feels natural. My lessons are interactive, focused, and designed to push each student to do their best—helping learners of all ages recite the Qur’an with clarity, beauty, and confidence.
