About Jasmine
My experience as a clinician has afforded me the opportunity to understand the human psyche in ways that cannot be achieved with textbooks alone. Using a blend of this real-life experience and "book smarts", I can help you understand the various concepts and theories put forth by experts - both past and present - in the field of psychology. I graduated from Temple University with a Bachelor of Science in Biology in 2018. During my stay at Temple, I volunteered at the Adult Anxiety Clinic at Temple as a research assistant, where I learned a ton about psychological research and social anxiety. After that, I graduated from Thomas Jefferson University in 2021 with a Master's of Science in Community and Trauma Counseling and have been actively practicing ever since.

I'm a Jefferson University graduate and practicing mental health counselor and I am a great resource for all of your questions, conundrums, and qualms regarding the study of psychology. I am knowledgeable in a variety of topics in psychology, including psychopathology, psychological theories, developmental psychology, and basic neurobiology. My lessons will contain a blend of empathy, warmth, patience, and gentle challenging to create the most comfortable environment possible in order to promote learning! Whether you're looking to understand the fundamentals of psych 101, dive into Freud's developmental model, or ace your psychological theories essay, I've got you covered.
