I use tools like chord visualizers, loop pedals, and interactive apps to help students see and hear their progress in real time. These tech aids make complex concepts feel more intuitive and exciting. Tempo control and harmonics are introduced through guided exercises and loop-based layering, giving students full control of their timing and tone. For those who enjoy expressing themselves through songwriting, we dive into DAWs (Digital Audio Workstations) to write, record, and refine original tracks. Multi-track practice helps students explore rhythm, lead, and harmony roles—all at once. Whether you’re a tech-savvy learner or just getting started, we’ll build a workflow that’s both fun and focused. Visual–auditory learners thrive with the balance of screen-based tools and hands-on guitar play. I also help students build confidence by recording their progress and creating mini projects they can share. It’s not just about playing notes it’s about creating something that feels real and personal. Each session is crafted to support growth, exploration, and joy. I'm a passionate guitar tutor with 9 years of experience and a Bachelor of Music Education, specializing in guitar. Over the years, I’ve had the honor of working with students from all walks of life, especially those who are visually impaired or differently-abled. My approach is rooted in accessibility, inclusion, and musical confidence.
I use tactile notation, audio cue training, and rhythmic development techniques to create a rich, multisensory learning experience. Lessons are adaptive and student-centered, ensuring that each learner feels supported and inspired. Whether it's fingerpicking, strumming, improvising, or songwriting, I tailor every session to your strengths and goals.
For visually impaired learners, I incorporate audio markers, memory-based techniques, and custom tools that make the guitar more intuitive and expressive. I also collaborate closely with families and caregivers to build a consistent and empowering practice environment.
