I am a guitar tutor with 4 years of experience, and I also compose and perform regularly. I hold a Bachelor of Music in Composition with a Guitar Emphasis. My lessons highlight music as a creative and lifelong skill. I specialize in acoustic fingerstyle and classical guitar performance. Beginners are guided step by step with patience and clarity. Advanced musicians are challenged to refine their expression and artistry. I place strong emphasis on intricate arrangements and detailed technique. Students are encouraged to explore the guitar as both an instrument and a voice. Lessons balance discipline with creativity, blending technical drills with expressive exercises. My background as a performer adds depth to teaching stage presence and tone. As a composer, I inspire students to build their own musical ideas. My teaching approach for guitar combines both playing skills and practical knowledge of the instrument. I believe a guitarist should not only know how to play but also how to care for their instrument. Lessons cover technique, rhythm, chord progressions, and performance skills. Alongside this, I teach essential topics like guitar maintenance, string changing, and basic setup. Students also learn about guitar electronics and effects pedals to shape their own tone. I show how proper care improves sound and playability. Beginners are guided step by step in building strong foundations. Intermediate and advanced players are encouraged to refine their style and explore expressive details. The Campfire Strummer learns how to keep their guitar in top condition for every singalong. The Worship Leader gains confidence not only in playing but also in mastering their gear for live settings. Lessons include practical demonstrations, interactive exercises, and hands-on practice. I support students in understanding both the artistry and the mechanics of guitar. Every learner is prepared to play, care for, and enjoy their instrument fully. My goal is to help students become confident musicians who feel connected to both their music and their gear.
