About Patrick

Originally from the Southern Alps region, I started my professional career as a French teacher in the US where I stayed for almost 20 years. I moved to the Swindon area in 2018 where I used to teach adults.
I have tutored secondary school students to prepare them for their exams as well as to consolidate their own level.

About the lesson

I teach vocabulary and grammar in context focusing on the students' personal interests.
I believe that learning a foreign language is achieved through using extensively the language in real-life contexts meaningful to the students. For that purpose, my preparation includes designing learner-centred communicative activities that push the students to experience the language.
