About Humera
I am a Computer Science specialist dedicated to helping students achieve top results at the GCSE level. Having secured A* grades in both my GCSEs and A-Levels, I have a first-hand understanding of what it takes to reach the highest mark bands. I am currently deepening my technical expertise through a Cybersecurity degree and hold professional CompTIA certifications. I also have 4 years in industry working as an IT professional.
I am highly familiar with both the AQA and OCR exam boards, which allows me to tailor my teaching to the specific requirements and theory weightings of each curriculum. My passion for the subject extends beyond the classroom; I spend much of my spare time programming and building personal projects, giving me a practical edge that I bring to every lesson.
When I’m not at my desk, I enjoy gaming and travelling, which helps me stay balanced and focused. I want to teach because I enjoy breaking down complex logic into clear, actionable steps. My goal is to provide you with the same study habits and programming techniques that led to my own success, ensuring you feel fully prepared for exam day.

I provide engaging Python and Computer Science tutoring for GCSE level students and below. Whether you are a complete beginner or just looking for some extra help. My methodology focuses on 'teaching to understand' rather than just giving answers.
My goal is to make Computer Science theory relevant by drawing on the technology students use every day. I deliver lessons through a dynamic combination of live diagrams, interactive PowerPoints, and exam-style worksheets.
I am particularly skilled at simplifying difficult concepts into manageable pieces, ensuring students can process and retain the material. Beyond the theory, I focus heavily on GCSE exam technique using past paper questions. I pride myself on being able to motivate students through challenging topics, adapting my pace to their specific thinking patterns to either support or challenge them as needed.
Lessons are usually 60-120 minutes and are tailored to your specific goals, whether that's mastering loops or understanding data structures. I aim to build your confidence so that you can ace your GCSEs easily.
I have 5 years' experience teaching ages 11-15 Computer Science.
