About Gianmarco
I am a master of science graduate in Natural Sciences from the University of Naples "Federico II". I started practicing teaching and interfacing with the public about 6 years ago, when I lived my first experience as a volunteer at a sea turtle recovery center, where, among the various tasks, assistance was provided to visitors of the center, and the dissemination of scientific content on the biology and ecology of sea turtles. Last year I worked as a paleontological guide for an exhibition of Dinosaurs set up in Salerno, entitled "Dinosaurs in Meat and Bones", which included the display and assembly of life-size models of different species of dinosaurs. On this occasion I took care of welcoming and guiding different classes, second and third grade, to discover these reproductions, providing information on the biology, evolution and ecology of dinosaurs, being an integral part of their Science program. I also took part as exhibitor, this year, in the event "Remote Future", organized in Naples at the City of Science, with the task of exhibiting to visitors the importance of building 3D models in the context of Paleontology studies and on Evolution. They also have an excellent knowledge of English, with various internationally recognized certifications.

My teaching methodology is very flexible, and has the specific objective of adapting to the needs of the student. I try to adapt all the technical and methodological choices on the setting of the lesson according to the objectives and subjective and individual needs of the students: in my personal experience, both as a university student and as a scientific popularizer, I have never met two students who have the same learning methods, or the same teaching needs. On average, I tend to carry out my lessons with the aid of an adequate didactic material, both paper and digital, in order to guarantee the student the maximum completeness of the information and didactic content. I always try to stimulate students to reason, to curiosity and to deepen their contents, in order not to make their learning process a static and useless accumulation of information, but rather an active process of building dynamic and integrated concepts.
