About Giacomo
I have a master and a bacgelor degree, both cum laude, in foreign languages and literatures. My entire university career has focused on teaching; during my path of study not only have I taken exams regarding foreign languages, literature and linguistics, but also languages didactic, anthropology and psychology for teaching. In fact, I have achieved, with full marks, the Pef24, a qualification necessary to access teaching in the Italian school. During my university years I was also able to study abroad, spending two university semesters in Germany at the Universität zu Köln and the Institut für Fremdsprachenberufe Kempten, after winning two Erasmus + Study grants. I also attended an intensive German language course at the Institut für Internationale Kommunikation in Berlin. At the end of my studies, I accessed a II level Master in Didactics of Italian L2, which I am still attending.

One thing is certain, the study of foreign languages is different for each learner and on this I do base my approach: the understanding of the individual student. Only in this way can the most suitable method for studying foreign languages be adopted. A detailed study of the grammar rules remains a fundamental basis, which must always be followed by inductive teaching, in order to memorize what has been learned through the support of text comprehensions, conversation exercises and videos specific to the student's level according to the Common European Framework reference for the knowledge of languages.
