About Manuel
My name is Manuel, and I have been passionate about music since I was six years old, when I first began studying classical guitar. I studied at the Liceo Musicale in Trieste and simultaneously at the recognized Slovenian-language conservatory. Over the years, I have participated in advanced technical courses, guitar orchestra workshops, and masterclasses with internationally renowned guitarists such as M. Tamayo, N. Paradiso, M. Feri, J. Jurinčič, L. Pizzutel, and F. Molmenti. I have also competed successfully both as a soloist and as a member of a guitar quartet. Currently, I am continuing my studies at the Maastricht Conservatory in the Netherlands under the guidance of Maestro Carlo Marchione. I have performed in prestigious venues such as Parkstad Limburg Theaters (Heerlen, NL), Het Concertgebouw (Amsterdam, NL), and Gabinete Literario (Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, ES).

I believe that learning music should be a joyful, inspiring experience. My teaching method is highly personalized, adapting to each student’s needs, goals, and pace. I emphasize strong technical foundations, musical expression, and developing a deep understanding of the music. I also work on posture, relaxation, and mental focus to make playing as natural and efficient as possible. An important part of my teaching philosophy is the integration of mindfulness and meditation techniques. As the founder of The Centered Musician, a project dedicated to combining music, meditation, and mental presence, I help students not only improve their playing skills but also develop focus, confidence, and emotional connection with their music. I teach simple tools to manage performance anxiety, build awareness, and cultivate a more fulfilling musical practice. A typical lesson includes: -Warm-up exercises and technical work (scales, arpeggios, tone production) -Study of repertoire, from classical to more modern pieces if desired -Focused work on musical phrasing, dynamics, and interpretation -Mindfulness and relaxation exercises for improving concentration and expression -Discussion of practice strategies and how to build an efficient and enjoyable routine -Optional introduction to music theory and sight-reading What Sets Me Apart What makes my lessons special is the combination of a solid academic background, international performing experience, and a true passion for sharing music and mental presence. I aim not only to teach how to play the guitar but also to inspire a deeper connection with music and with oneself. My goal is to guide students to become independent, expressive, and centered musicians. Who the Lessons Are For My lessons are open to all levels and ages, from complete beginners to advanced students who want to refine their technique, prepare for conservatory auditions, improve their stage presence, or simply enjoy playing music in a more mindful way.
